Online Courses and Programs
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Richmond County Public Schools (RCPS) offers several online courses and programs through Rappahannock High School (RHS). These programs include:
- APEX- online learning for credit recovery and credit accrual for identified students; the program is free to all enrolled as a RCPS student
- Project Lead the Way- Governor’s STEM Academy at Northern Neck Technical Center provides blended courses in introductory engineering. The program has an application process open to rising 9th and 10th graders; it is free to all enrolled RCPS students.
- Virtual Virginia-online courses for initial high school credit; more information can be found at https://www.virtualvirginia.org, or by contacting the RHS guidance department at (804) 333-3551.
These courses can be free of charge to students identified as Early College Scholars, during the school year, for all students enrolled at RHS.
